Overview

Romance writer Dalton Delaney came to Dalton, Maine for one thing: research-because his next book is due, his brain is frozen, and writer's block has turned personal. Then he steps into a bookstore called Wonderland, where the air smells like cinnamon and coffee, the lights glow like a promise, and the owner looks at him with the kind of calm competence that should require a license. Walker Whitman doesn't do chaos. He runs his shop with quiet rules, steady boundaries, and a golden retriever named Maple who appears to have appointed herself Dalton's emotional handler (complete with a Maple University hoodie). Before Dalton can blink, he's signing ""temporary"" Wonderland house rules, getting cornered by Dalton's matchmaking infrastructure (hi, Maggie McGlynn), and realizing he's staying in town a lot longer than planned. Wistfulness, Writer's Block & Wonderland is a cozy romantic comedy packed with flirt-fights, competence-as-a-love-language, nosy locals with good intentions, and the occasional public feelings incident-plus a guaranteed happily-ever-after.
