Wise Words: Politics, Business, Small Talk: 50 Key Expressions & Business Idioms,

Overview

Small talk can help you understand your business partners and the culture in which they do business - it helps you learn what makes them tick. But if all you talk about is the weather, small talk can get very boring pretty quickly. And despite what you may have heard, there aren't really many topics that are truly taboo. You've heard that politics is taboo? Nonsense. Politics are a part of life and an important part of business. You can't ignore politics when you do business internationally. To make small talk, you need vocabulary! In this book, there are five sections. In each section, you will find five key political terms and five idiomatic expressions for business situations, which makes a total of 50 vocabulary items. Includes German translations of the key terms and idioms!
