Author Information

Lizzie is a British artist and author currently living in the suburbs of Chicago with her husband, daughter and dogs. After a long career working internationally as a muralist, an arthritis diagnosis led her to rethink her creative path. She has illustrated children's books and published two collections of illustrated humorous verse. Her poetry has appeared in magazines and anthologies. She has a particular love for writing about dogs and the trials of midlife and menopause. Much of what she writes and draws is for the simple pleasure of making people laugh. Christine began 'writing things down' at the age of five in an attempt to remember those things forever. She have never stopped. Although born and brought up in London she has lived in Cornwall for the greater part of her adult life with long interludes working in Switzerland and France. She translated a French Resistance fighter's book among others. She worked for many years alongside her husband in his pottery but now has hung up her apron to concentrate on writing novels, short stories, children's tales and poetry. Her poems have appeared in poetry reviews and anthologies.
