OverviewThis book will have several parts. The first part of the book will be aimed at 'the curious' reader, and will contain the history of Wiring, a general introduction to electronics, micro controllers, programming and provide a context to the reader regarding why the Wiring is, what we aim to become, and how the reader can be part of the project. The next part is a self-educational 'from zero to hero' part. This part targets the reader as 'the student' and will be written heavily in first-person plural to get a sense of collaboration and creative exploration. The reader will learn the basic structure and syntax of a c++ program, and become familiar with the Wiring API as well as getting a feel for how to use libraries and connect various sensors and actuators to the Wiring board (which means some basic electricity knowledge will be taught as well. V=IR anyone?).
