Author Information

John M. Weeks is a songwriter and poet who recently published his first collection of poetry called Wiregrass Moon. In this collection, Weeks focuses his writing on the North Florida environment, while exploring themes such as time, change, and human connections with the natural world. Weeks is known for his stream of consciousness writing style, along with a descriptiveness that places the reader within the spiritual and physical environments that he explores. Weeks is a graduate of the University of North Florida, with a degree in History and Anthropology. When he isn't writing, he can be found teaching American History and English, spending time with family, and pursuing outdoor adventures.
