The author postulates that the love of power, greed, evilness and control must be cast away and replaced with love and respect, despite our differences, in order for us to transition into a season of warmth. When love replaces the love of power we will see this long period of winter dissipate and evolve into an America that reflects its creed and becomes an even greater nation.
