Winston the Amazing Dog starts out in life as a guard dog. However, before long, he discovers that he has a talent that makes him a famous performer in a circus. But when he is diagnosed with diabetes he thinks his circus career is over. But treatment begins and before long, he is not only able to perform his famous stunt again, but he goes on to become even more famous! Eleanor Troutt has lived with type 1 diabetes for over 20 years. From personal experience she knows that diabetes can be a challenge, but with the proper treatment, anyone young or old can live a happy, fulfilling life. This book is designed to give hope to children with diabetes and their concerned parents.
