OverviewThis is a book for lawyers, especially commercial litigators. It consists of interviews of 15 well-respected, highly experienced, and very bright professionals conducted over the course of a year. Thirteen of these professionals are attorneys and two are experienced forensic accountants whom have testified as experts in numerous lawsuits. Each chapter is a transcript of an interview where the attorney discusses his or her experiences in using financial experts in their cases. His dinner discussions growing up centered around his father's cases and what he and his brothers thought about those cases. Later in life, after becoming an attorney licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey, Ron joined his father's firm, Rosenfarb LLC. He spent nearly a decade working there as a lawyer and forensic accountant. In 2017, he left Rosenfarb LLC to embark upon a new journey as an entrepreneur. Ron resides in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Clayton Giles is an attorney and forensic accountant at Rosenfarb LLC. In 2013, he joined Rosenfarb LLC, a firm of forensic accounting and valuation experts with offices in New York City and New Jersey. He has over 15 years of litigation experience. Prior to joining Rosenfarb, Clay was lead counsel in numerous state and federal court actions involving complex commercial litigation matters while at Fox and Fox LLP. He also worked at Milberg LLP, a class action and securities litigation firm. Prior to law school, Clay was an accountant for Trebron Management, formerly GynCor, Inc., a physician practices management company headquartered in Chicago. Clay is a former Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Roger M. Kahn of the Tax Court of New Jersey. He resides with his wife and daughter in Brooklyn.
