This makes me a bit of a connoisseur of books - not just the prose, but also the parts you hold on your hand. This story is complete and has the original pics, no color- just the line drawings. The things I like best about this particular book is its size. It has wider margins, a bit more space between lines making it easier for young eyes to follow, and, it doesn't want to snap shut as so many paperbacks do. The glossary in the back is a great addition to a story written for a different culture in a different era. My elementary kids will enjoy it. - F.S. Pooh has always been a favorite, but this ""easy to understand"" version will make it enjoyable for all children. It is written in simple, easy to understand language. It also comes with a glossary in the back of the book for certain words that were spoken in the time era it was written in.This book contains several classic Pooh stories with some adorably sketched pictures of classic Pooh and Friends. The book was shipped promptly and was delivered sooner than the expected delivery date. I would read this book to a child under 7 yrs., otherwise, a child over 7 yrs. should do well with the way it is written. - R.M. This is a great classic for kids. A great read aloud for homeschoolers. - J. M. Author InformationTab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
