A butterfly and a child discover each others differences and how they can compliment their friendship.The child can run through the meadows while the butterfly flies through the meadows but they both love to play in the meadow for hours. The child wants to keep the butterfly in a jar to keep him safe, instead the butterfly explains how he must remain free to keep him from harm. Their differences revealed produce a lasting friendship from generation to generation. It is through our differences we make strong relationships and learning to work together within our own limitations produces rewarding friendships

About the Author Lisa is a Colorado woman who owns and operates 3 successful businesses with over 200 employees nationwide. She has 4 children and 5 grandchildren. all of whom have provided inspiration for her stories that are sparked by real experiences and have a lesson packed inside for discussion. Every book is generously shared with organizations working with children as donations both in the USA and internationally. She has recorded over 25 original stories for local TV shows and enjoys working with schools and libraries to work on writing skills with children. Scot is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator, living in Colorado Springs, CO. He enjoys reading lots of children and Y/A books from the library ( his wife Betty is a children's librarian). He has three grown boys and an adolescent cat.
