Windows Live Toolbar is a toolbar designed as part of Microsoft's Windows Live range of services. It is the successor to the legacy MSN Search Toolbar. It provides a simple search interface that resides in Internet Explorer that starts to list its results as the user types in a search query, and uses Bing as its search engine. The toolbar also allows users to synchronise their Internet Explorer favorites across multiple computers, and provides an interface to Windows Live and MSN services. Windows Desktop Search was originally included with the toolbar, but is now a separate download.
