John Paul Sauceda wrote a children's book because he has always been inspired by children, who are smart, resilient and creative.He would go out and speak to children about safety and good choices. For the last 25 years, he has been a dedicated law enforcement officer. Going out, educating and inspiring the community and particularly kids, was his goal. He attended the San Antonio Art Institute and has always drawn and painted. A book was always in him. A book was the obvious next step which includes a visual and verbal creative process. His book is an interaction between the reader and children, where response is an imperative. They answer in unison to build their confidence, triggering inspiration. He has taken his book, in real time, to schools and has had a tremendous response from teachers, parents and kids. With many more ideas, he will continue to create, for all, books that will inspire. He is married to a wonderful teacher and has two amazing kids, who helped make him what he is today.
