Reviews

The publication will also be of value to institutions that teach forensic science; and the work should get wider use than the forensic science students as the general analytical sections are of wide application and some of the specific methods are of use in archaeology and art history. I am sure crime fiction writers, the interested public, and crime scene investigation fans would find much of interest in this book. (Reference Reviews, February 2010) The quality of the papers is clear, well written and approachable although on some legal aspects, such as expert witnesses, the slimmest of information is provided. This is a hugely valuable and worthwhile contribution to any civil or criminal practitioner's library. (Journal Online, March 2010) This encyclopedia is astounding… .This is a hugely valuable and worthwhile contribution to any civil or criminal practitioner's library. (Law Society of Scotland, November 2009) This is an excellent and indispensable encyclopedia. Some encyclopedias of forensic science and forensic medicine have been published before, but they have gone out of date, and we all could do with a new and up-to-date information on this subject. It is virtually a goldmine of information. (Internet Journal of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, July 2009)
