Each design is printed with a faint tone to it so that we go in and apply these areas using our tool of choice. We can use a pencil to warm up, we can use a pen the good ole fashion way or we can even use a tattoo machine with ballpoint pen cartridges to begin gaining familiarity with what the tattooing process can be like. Each design is printed with a faint tone to it so that way we as the artist can apply the darker and lighters areas as we see fit. The faintly printed design is to act as a guide for us and we as the artist determine the levels of saturation that we want to reach for each and every design.
