Overview

In Michigan's Upper Peninsula, little known fantasy writer Ravyn Shaunessy is content to traipse about the boundless world of the imagination safe and cozied in her writing garret with her sweet, slightly mysterious muse-like cat and a little bit of chocolate. But when a company interested in ancient mythologies buys out her publisher, she finds herself pushed into the outside world and partnered with a handsome, enigmatic new coworker, the French Canadian photographer Damien Le Sauvage. Together they must unravel mysteries from thousands of years ago, ones rooted in stories from cultures long lost to the march of modernity. Others are watching, however, their intentions anything but friendly.
