Wild About Brass is an essential resource for brass teachers. Aural, creative, notation and ensemble activities are clearly described, with step-by-step guidance. Pupils will develop their love of music making, and will progress in all areas of instrumental learning, working first with just two notes, then five notes, then eight. Ensemble material can be put together for instrument-specific groups, or for mixed brass. Ruth Wild M.Ed. is a highly respected instrumental teacher. She has had many years of experience in supporting and managing teachers across all disciplines and genres. This has included observing, advising, and providing learning resources. She has delivered training across England for a variety of organisations involved in music education, and participated in the writing of A Common Approach (2002). Her work is informed by her extensive career in music education, her own academic research, and an eclectic performing portfolio.
