Yes , the very question in the title is worthy of a discussion. We should be taught some form of this in school and in reality, at a fairly young age. People are being told to, Be Kind. But really what does this actually mean ? In the book , whilst Alice Sheldon does not ask nor cover this, it is a book worthy of finding the answer to that question and many others. We sometimes react to a person in a way that has been taught or shown to us from a young age, or through learned experiences. This book shows us there are other ways that can ultimately improve our relationship with others and by that, ourselves. Brilliant and thought provoking. * NetGalley *

The principles in this book have not only transformed all my relationships with people I know and those I don't, they have also transformed the relationship I have with myself. Alice Sheldon's book clearly articulates these principles so that everyone has a chance to understand them and reap the benefits in their own lives. * Amazon * The ability to build and sustain relationships with a wide range of people is an essential skill in business in order to get things done. By using the tools outlined in this book, managers at all levels of seniority can foster the kind of environment in which people feel engaged and can give their best, finding creative and efficient solutions in seemingly intractable situations. A must-read book for 21st century leaders. * Amazon * I am finding this book a real treasure - it is easy to read, each chapter has a take home summary at the end and is divided into wonderfully easy to read small sections. And every section is full of helpful advice. I couldn't recommend this book more highly - it is full of digestible wisdom. * Amazon * Brilliant and thought provoking. * NetGalley *
