Do you ever wonder what things will be like for your children or grandchildren? Are you ever fearful your (grand)children will not make it or have a difficult time making it? If you answer -no- to both of these questions you are lucky. If you answer -no- to both questions you may not be interested in what I have to say. Maybe you should be! If you have any hesitancy in answering either question you will be interested in what I say. My life and my book are about questions - questions not too many people are asking. Three years ago I published a book -Why We Are Always Broke: things we need to know about the economy.- Although only 3 years old, my book started 55 years ago when I was a student at the University of Notre Dame. My economics professor, Jerome J Judge, was explaining what then seemed to be a new approach to economics. I fought him every single class. -You cannot spend money you don't have!- -You cannot create something out of nothing!- In early June, 2012 I was invited to speak to the Rotary Club of South Austin, Texas about my book. In 1957 I never envisioned that 55 years later I would be standing in Austin, Texas telling a group of bankers and business people: -You can't spend money you don't have. You can't create something out of nothing.-
