Brian Jerrold Koester is the author of ""What Keeps Me Awake"" and ""Bossa Nova. "" He has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and the Best of the Net Anthology, and he holds an MFA from the Bennington Writing Seminars. He lives north of Boston.
