Pamela Duncan Edwards, a New York Times-bestselling author, has written more than seventy fiction and nonfiction picture books, including B is for Big Ben: An England Alphabet and O is for Old Dominion: A Virginia Alphabet for Sleeping Bear Press. Her books have earned many starred reviews and awards, including the California Young Reader Medal and the Whitney and Scott Cardozo Award for Children's Literature. Pamela was born and brought up in a small English town before moving to the United States with her husband, two sons, and their dog. She now lives happily in the beautiful state of Virginia. Learn more about her at pameladuncanedwards.com. Bridget Starr Taylor grew up on a hillside farm in northwestern Connecticut. She earned a BA in illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design. Bridget has lived for over 24 years in the (now very trendy) neighborhood known as the meatpacking district in New York City. She is married to an editor of the Wall Street Journal. In addition to illustration, Bridget designs and constructs sets and props for special events. Her clients have included the New York Public Library, Chase Bank/Metrotech Center, and the Bronx Zoo. Some of her illustration credits include the New York Times, Publishers Weekly, Sports Illustrated, and Sesame Street Magazine.
