Author Information

E. J. Dionne Jr. is an American journalist and political commentator and a long-time op-ed columnist for the Washington Post. He is also a senior fellow in governance studies at the Brookings Institution, University Professor in the Foundations of Democracy and Culture at McCourt School of Public Policy, a senior research fellow at Saint Anselm College, and a commentator for NPR. His published works include the influential bestseller Why Americans Hate Politics, They Only Look Dead, Souled Out, and Stand Up, Fight Back. He lives in Bethesda, Maryland. Mike Chamberlain is an actor and voice-over performer in Los Angeles whose audiobook narration has won several AudioFile Earphones Awards. His voice credits range from radio commercials and television narration to animation and video game characters. Stage trained at Boston College, he has performed works from Shakespeare and the classics to contemporary drama and comedy.
