Garry Wills is one of the most respected writers on religion today. He is the author of Saint Augustine's Childhood, Saint Augustine's Memory, and Saint Augustine's Sin, the first three volumes in this series, as well as the Penguin Lives biography Saint Augustine. His other books include ""Negro President"" Jefferson and the Slave Power, Why I Am a Catholic, Papal Sin, and Lincoln at Gettysburg, which won the Pulitzer Prize. Michael Prichard has recorded more than 500 full-length audiobooks. He received an Audie Award for Tears in the Darkness by Michael Norman and Elizabeth M. Norman and was named a Top Ten Golden Voice by SmartMoney magazine. He has also received several AudioFile Earphones Awards for works including At All Costs by Sam Moses and In Nixon's Web by L. Patrick Gray III. His has narrated works by Mark Twain, John Cheever, and John Updike, and read Fritjof Capra's book The Web of Life for Macmillan Audio. In addition to his audiobook work, Prichard is an actor on screen and stage, including as a member of Ray Bradbury's Pandemonium Theatre Company. He performed the role of Captain Beatty in Fahrenheit 451, a performance for which Bradbury dubbed him ""the finest Beatty in history.""
