Author Information

Author: Mindy Stevenson is an avid horsewoman who also loves sharing stories about horses and animals with children. She rode open jumpers, team ropes and was one of the first woman jockeys in the world to ride race horses on recognized tracks. Her love for children motivated her to operate a therapeutic riding center for more than 18 years at her home in Oklahoma. Mother of four and now a very proud grandmother she enjoys writing and sharing her love of horses and animals with children of all ages. Illustrator: Jeremy Brown is a talented young illustrator who magically brings to life the friendship shared between Eli and Bo. Jeremy resides in Granbury, Texas. His ability to capture the essence of each short story in a humorous drawing shows how talented this young man is and because of his drawings the author is able to bring the life of horses to children all around the world.
