Eren's Mom, Senur Hadzhalaran, was born in Bulgaria and moved to Canada in 2002. As a former primary school teacher, she enjoys volunteering at Eren's school. Her love for kids inspired her to start writing stories for children. Her son Eren, age 6, draws the pictures for her stories. She lives with her family in Oakville, Ontario.
