Author Information

A recovering psychologist and resident of Sarasota, Florida, Rose Wyshharder has been working with children in one form or another for most of her life. Why, Oh Why, Can't Carrie Fly? holds a simple wish: that one day, the world will awaken to celebrate the first Christmas on Earth where there is more than enough for all chil- dren, not just some.Rose also believes writing books is far more powerful than just wishing for that day to arrive. She writes books so that children may slay the mighty dragon of self-doubt, turn negative thinking into positive, and discover that the real magic begins with self- belief. Her reverence for all things magical began at an early age. When told by a pint-sized Christmas assassin that there is no such thing as Santa Claus, she gave the following response: ""Well, thank goodness there's an Easter Bunny!"" Jon Davis is an award-winning illustrator of more than 100 books across the globe. Jon is based in his small but snug studio at the back of his house, where he lives with his family in the Lake District, UK.
