Reviews

Exactly what we needed for Melbourne's tram enthusiasts and tousists alike! A great read and the 200 or so photographs really immerse you into Melbourne's tram culture and history. Warren Doubleday, Collections Manager, Melbourne Tram Museum Inc.

My wife and I took great pleasure in reading this book. The photographs were what made this book stand out, with photos dating from the early 1800s right up to 2018, I felt as if I was there in the moment living through the stories being told. The book was the right length and didnt go into so much detail as to bore us (as we ourselves were not that into trams) - it felt like just the right amount and level of detail. I personally enjoyed how it went in a chronological order and made reading forward interesting... A great buildup. Maybe one thing that could be improved would be to increase size of the photgraph annotations? But overall, we both would strongly recommened this great book to anyone with the slightest interest in Trams or in Melbourne in General. After reading through, we also think it would be a wonderful gift, we know what we're gifting our friends and family this Christmas: -)! - Anonymous, Verified Purchase
