Overview

In Islam's holy book, The Qur'an, God has said: We (God) have created man in the best mold. (95:4) I (God) created the jinns and mankind to worship Me alone. (51:56) He (God) brings disgrace on those who do not use their brains. (10:100) God molded you [the human], breathed His spirit into you, and gave you hearing, vision, and heart; yet, you are seldom grateful. (32:9) If God has created humans in the best mold to worship Him alone, it is incumbent upon them to maintain God's creation, their bodies, in the best mold by using their brains. What this means is that by maintaining our bodies, using our brains, and thanking God, we are worshipping Him. Having good health is the foundation for success, richness, and happiness in life. A human has only two assets, the body and time. These need to be preserved and used wisely. Life is a team sport. We should play it as a team player. Helping others selflessly, being humble, kind, and considerate helps in maintaining good health.
