Hypnotism is a largely misunderstood subject, I suppose. But it may be easily learned by anyone interested, as with any other subject on earth right? Is it magic? Voodoo? Or is it a spell that one can cast upon others? Now, there's actually more of it than the thought of a stage magician ordering an assistant to float on air with a magic word and a wave of his hand. Or, a doctor softly telling a patient to close their eyes and believe in what he says. You may be surprised to learn that some magicians, psychologists and stage artists have had successes in demonstrating the effects of hypnotism, which is a real marvel and mystery to the uninitiated. In reality, hypnotism can be understood in terms of what it is not. With that said, one becomes free of the anxiety and misconception that are usually evoked when talking about the subject. Hypnotism may have been largely used, or even misused, by an unsuspecting public with both the practitioner as well as the subject person eager to do it for their own reasons.
