Overview

Lizzie lives with her parents, grandmother and her dog Venus. She has a special relationship with her father; he helps get her ready in the mornings and drives her to school and they play games along the way. One day, Lizzie's Dad doesn't get out of bed because he doesn't feel well. It continues for a few days and then a week or more. He stops coming to dinners with the family too. Lizzie's Mom explains that sometimes people get sick and need special medicine to help them feel better like when they have a virus.
