Sandy has a Master's Degree in Education and has been a Special Education Teacher for thirty-five years. She has two sons, the youngest of whom is nonverbal and has Autism. Sandy embraces the opportunity to be her son's voice and has spent the last twenty-four years advocating for his needs and raising awareness of individuals with special needs. She resides in a suburb of Chicago.
