Have you ever asked yourself Why Are the Catholic and Protestant Bibles Different? Exactly what are the differences in the religions? Everyone knows that the Bibles are different, but no one knows why or what is contained in the disputed passages. Author Sharon M. DeVaux-Garman was motivated to write the book after researching this topic for her master's thesis and earning her master's degree in religious education. Since then, she has done further research, added content and has rewritten the text to create this current version. In her book, she explores the reason for the differences in the Catholic and Protestant Bibles, as well as the content of the selections in question. Many sources were consulted and summaries of the works are also included. Sharon M. DeVaux-Garman of Auburn, Indiana, is currently working on volume two of an earlier work and on a memoir of her uncle, who was a composer. She has retired after twenty years as director of religious education at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, Waterloo, Indiana.
