Author Information

Phillis Gershator has written more than twenty-five books for children. She has worked as a children’s librarian and enjoys cooking, gardening, and especially reading. Phillis lives in the US Virgin Islands with her husband and frequent co-author, David. This is her first project with Barefoot Books Jill McDonald finds inspiration in colour and patterns, Since childhood, creating art has been a part of her life. When she received her BFA in Textile Design from Rhode Island School of Design , she know that creating art for kids was all that she wanted to do.
