Author Information

John BJ Hall has been in Gospel ministry since 1969 when he was 19 years old. His first pastorate was a little country church near Southwest City, Missouri on the Oklahoma side of the state line. He pastored two bivocational churches before the Lord opened a door of service at First Baptist Church, Adair, Oklahoma where he was the full-time pastor. He spent most of his ministry in northeastern Oklahoma, finishing with a short term as bivocational pastor at a small church in Tulsa Oklahoma. In January of 2001, BJ surrendered to fulltime evangelism and has devoted most of that ministry to music evangelism. The ravages of bipolar disorder took a toll on him since he was a child and he was unable to preach from 2001 to 2009. Since then he has seen tremendous changes in the treatment of his condition and has returned to preaching evangelism. He sees his ministry as more of a revivalist than an evangelist. It is his philosophy that when the church of God is truly revived, that evangelism will be the natural outgrowth.
