Jarod and his brother are enjoying bathtime when something terrible happens: little Cian poops in the tub! Their mom cleans the tub, but bathtime is ruined for the night. Shannon Castellarin is an engineer who has spent over twenty years working on environmental issues ranging from air pollution to plastic waste. She is also a mother, and though her two sons are now grown, she remembers how difficult it was to find picture books that interested them, particularly ones with empowering messages. When she isn't writing, Shannon loves spending time outdoors swimming, walking, and paddling her SUP board. She lives in Ottawa with her partner, her two adult sons, their dog, Chase, and their cat, Cotton.
