Overview
This book is based on the true story of Chi, a bearded dragon, who inspired his owners to create better enclosures for him and other reptiles. On Arthur's tenth birthday, Father surprises him with a pet bearded dragon they name Chi. But there is a problem. The family does not know how to take care of Chi. After researching bearded dragon care, Arthur soon realizes they have to upgrade Chi's tank setup. The ideal enclosure does not exist. Arthur and Father have to build one.

Author Information
Jan Heng lives in Medford, Massachusetts with her family and pets. Jan grew up in Singapore, completed her undergraduate and PhD studies in Australia, and completed a fellowship in Canada. She is an internationally published women's health research scientist. Who Has A Pet Bearded Dragon is her third children's book in the Who Has A Pet series.
