Dan Waddell started his writing career as a newspaper reporter and later became a sportswriter for BBC books. When his son was born in 2003, he became curious about his own family history, and after a few hours of research he uncovered a scandalous family secret! Dan Waddell lives in London. Warwick Johnson Cadwell's illustrations have appeared in several newspapers and magazines. His art is inspired by the comics and cartoons he grew up reading and watching.
