Author Information

Randy True was born in Muncie, Indiana. He grew up around the farming community and auto industry. He always enjoyed sketching and painting, but it really wasn't his passion. He always wanted to build things and be somewhat creative, so his insterest turned to cabinet and furniture making. After purchasing tool and making space for a shop, he started making furniture. Although satisfying, he realized the artistic part was missing. Talking to a friend who is a shop instructor, he was told of a woodcarving club. He soon found the artistic release he needed. Becasue of his love for the artform, he looks forward to helping others get started an hope to pursue a career in the art of wood sculpture.
