Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationRita Potter has spent most of her life trying to figure out what makes people tick. To that end, she holds a bachelor's degree in social work and an MA in sociology. Being an eternal optimist, she maintains that the human spirit is remarkably resilient. Her writing reflects this belief. Although Rita's stories are eclectic, she typically writes layered characters who are facing challenging circumstances. She draws inspiration from the quote, ""The writer's job is to get their main character up a tree, and then throw rocks at them."" Despite the heavier subject matter, Rita's humorous banter and authentic dialogue reflect her hopeful nature. She lives in a small town in Illinois with her wife, Terra, and their cat, Chumley, who actually runs the household. Jessie Elwyn began narrating romance as a hobby starting in 2021, mostly recording fan fiction and sharing it with close knit online communities. The response to her hobby work was so enthusiastic that she decided to pursue audiobook narration professionally in 2023. Since then she has recorded and produced more than twenty-five romance titles in various subgenres, as well as additional titles under her other pseudonym. Jessie loves working with indie authors, many of whom have signed her on for future books and series after discovering how much they love her performances. Her narration style has been described as conversational, warm, and immersive, while her voice has been described as having a smooth,""velvet"" quality that effectively portrays a variety of delicious characters and moments in the romance genre.
