Overview

In a few hundred years, humanity is long extinct and ""Awakened"" birds, imbued with human language & sapience, reign supreme. Gleaning what they could from our refuse and archives, they've built their own civilization upon our ruins. Follow along as Sashya, a barn owl, and Pepro, a bald eagle, venture forth to Whiterock, an enormous bird city full of promise and problems, to obtain gold needed for a pair of royal bonding rings. Their goal is simple, but the circumstances are not, as they are pulled, against their will, into a plot of corruption that may threaten their nation's fragile democracy. They'll need each other, their new friends, and their diversity of talents, to prevail. Will avian society repeat humanity's mistakes? After mankind fails, will birds prevail?
