There is only one good, knowledge, and one evil, ignorance. - Socrates Meaningful improvement, within the broader Black community, will only occur when it is built on a foundation of knowledge. We have the talent and treasure to narrow the racial and wealth divide, but there needs to be a clear focus on what will have an impact. -Put aside insightful inaction. -Move past fear, greed and ignorance. -Build on the cornerstones of measurable progress; education, jobs/capital, justice reform, safer neighborhoods and a family culture. Liberal or conservative, Black or White, makes no difference. What will make a difference are conversations and actions based on knowledge, not headlines. Then, we all win.
