Whistlestop

Overview

In 1826 Millicent Post was burned as a witch. Before the flames consumed her, she cursed the town of Whistlestop and vowed she would return. Centuries later, Katie White becomes possessed by Millicent's spirit and while Katie's soul is held captive in a clay vessel, the resurrected witch causes havoc upon the town. With each death her powers grow until she becomes unstoppable, consuming the town and all those who destroyed her so many years ago. Whistlestop's only hope is in the hands of Michael White, Katie's father. Can he release his daughter from Millicent's grip and by doing so, save Whistlestop, or will he be too late? Let acclaimed author David Greske (Harlow, Blood River, Night Whispers, Road Trip & Other Highway Horrors) take you on a terrifying supernatural journey that will leave you captivated with an unputdownable read you will not readily forget!

Author Information

Raised in rural Wisconsin, David Greske grew up feeding chickens, milking cows, and watching Saturday afternoon creature features. Not necessarily in that order. He has been writing horror stories since the age of seven and one of his first literary endeavors was a rip-off of a Dark Shadows episode. Many years later his stories have appeared in Black Ink Horror, Back Roads, Thirteen, and Dark Moon Digest. His published novels include ANATHEMA, NIGHT WHISPERS, RETRIBUTION, BLOOD RIVER, as well as HARLOW and WHISTLESTOP, both available through Black Bed Sheet Books. He co-wrote the screenplay to his novel, BLOOD RIVER, which has been made into a feature film by ForbesFilm.
