Author Information

Joseph M. Korzon grew up on State Street in New Haven, Connecticut. He has traveled extensively throughout his career, making friends and gaining experiences in India, the Philippines, Africa, Latin America, and across the United States. Both before and after his professional career, he has been actively involved with numerous charities, including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Connecticut Special Olympics, and other organizations focused on supporting individuals affected by traumatic brain injury and improving access to quality healthcare for all individuals.He now resides in Ellington, Connecticut, where he is working on his latest collection of short stories and essays entitled ""Shallow Waters-Our Search for Faith and Character in an Unwilling World.""He has been recognized for excellence in journalism by the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists and has been a regular contributor to ""Connecticut Magazine."" He enjoys traveling, cycling, and spending time with family and friends, especially his two grandsons.
