OverviewWhispers from the Wild is a charmingly funny but, at times, intriguingly serious book of haiku poetry. What is it like to be a member of the animal kingdom? The three-line poems pack a lot of meaning into their 5-7-5 syllable format. Readers will find much to ponder during a poetic journey through the animal world. The wide range of animals present in the poems is lovingly illustrated by artist Vicki Cole.
