Im not a fan of preachy devotionals or those that paint rosy pictures of faith at every turn. When I need encouragement, I need truth from people who've been through something. The author offers vulnerability, hope, and compassion from her story in connection to the living truth found in scripture. I found myself only wishing it was longer.

"Shemekka Ebony, Author of While I'm Getting Naked, is a Leadership Coach and Philanthropist who lives, works, prays, and plays with her husband Michael Stewart-Isaacs, their sons, Lomari, Coren, Chi-Alexander, and Ade'Maximus, and daughter Alihera in North Carolina. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master of Science Degree in Counseling Studies and has co-authored serval research writings/publications addressing health equity, engagement tools, and engaging people with lived experience expertise. Much of this work was inspired by Shemekka Ebony's continuous lived experience journey in becoming the Sanctuary while in the hedges & highways. She has accepted her call as a Leadership Coach and shares the journey with her ""Brilliant Bunch."""
