I applied many of the lessons in this book to my own life and walked away from situations and people feeling less drained or taken advantage of. This book touches on issues that are often overlooked and sums up so much in a few words about life experiences that we all can relate to and learn from. If you appreciate real and practical, you will enjoy this book as much as I did! I wish this book was around fourteen years ago. It would have saved me from making heart-wrenching mistakes. By far lesson 6 (The Best Phrases in Life), lesson 28 (You Can't Control Crazy) are applicable to my life. It's worth the read. I loved this book. It was very thought-provoking, well written, and an easy read. We all have been guilty of more than a few of these thoughts listed in the book. Lesson 12 and 17 hit home for me. I have been guilty of being too passive, trying to spare people's feelings, saying maybe when I really mean NO. There are things we know in life but to read a book that speaks to your spirit to convict you or bring truth to the forefront is awesome! Don't hesitate to give this book a look. You will not be disappointed.
