Author Information

The Editors: Silke Tonshoff studied economics and philosophy and obtained a Ph.D. in economics in 1999. Prior to the Committee of the Regions of the EU she worked as management consultant for a global management consulting company, as economist for the Berlin government and as senior analyst for RAND Europe. Andreas Weida, from 1992 to 2001 Assistant Researcher at the Institute for European Economic Research at the University of Wuppertal, has been working for the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union since 2001.
