Born on the Northwest Side of Chicago, he has lived most of his life in Chicago and is active in many of the city's cultural and biking circles. Greg has a bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from Grinnell College and a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. In addition to having completed hundreds of freelance gigs, Greg has been a full-time reporter, editor and/or writer at Modern Railroads Magazine, Traffic World, International Thompson Transport Press, The Business Word, American Medical Association, Harcourt Brace, The Field Museum, Momentum Magazine and University of Chicago.
