Judith Low is an independent author and screenwriter whose work explores the connections between people, nature, memory, and imagination. Her stories range from lyrical literary fiction and speculative worlds to gentle tales for children, all united by a belief that curiosity, courage, and compassion help guide us home. Her adult fiction includes A Promise Made in the Dark, The Forgotten Talents, and the short-story collection Where the Veil Grows Thin, which explores the mysterious spaces where memory, grief, and the unseen meet. For younger readers, she writes illustrated stories that celebrate wonder, kindness, and the small adventures of everyday life, including Stray, Billy Bunny, and A Turtle in a Tree. Judith is also a screenwriter. Her novel A Promise Made in the Dark has been adapted into a seven-part limited series screenplay, and she is the writer of the original screenplay Ignition 60.
