Ever since she was a little girl, Marta Curti loved to write. As a child growing up in Los Angeles, California she spent a lot of time writing poetry, stories and songs. She wrote her first book for children when she was studying Creative Writing at Pepperdine University. After graduating with an MA in Education, she went on to work as a teacher, an environmental educator and a biologist. She currently works for a conservation organization that protects birds of prey and she also leads birdwatching tours around the world. Through all her jobs and travels, Marta has never stopped writing. Where Laughter Goes is her second book for children.
