He has published on Biblical Hebrew linguistics, in particular on metaphor, and on the book of Job, including From Linguistics to Hermeneutics. A Functional and Cognitive Approach to Job 12-14 (Brill, 2011). Hanneke van Loon, PhD (2017), KU Leuven, is researcher in the Research Unit of Biblical Studies at that university. Her interests include the book of Job and Biblical Hebrew linguistics. Currently, she is working on a sequel to Metaphors in the Discussion on Suffering in Job 3-31 (Brill, 2018).
